Dear Pacific Northwest Theater Families,
In these difficult times, we hope that this communication finds you in good health and good spirits. It is time to make the difficult decision about our summer programs and with a heavy heart we have decided to cancel all Pacific Northwest Theater summer programs. This has been hard for us to accept, but we believe that it is the right thing to do for our community and our families. We do not see any way to maintain social distancing protocols and create a live show in front of an audience. The limitations on groups, the challenge of finding a space to hold the camp and the uncertainty of protocols make planning for a successful summer program impossible. The health and safety of your kids and our staff is of utmost importance to us and with an overabundance of caution we have decided not to hold camps this summer. We are grateful for your support and your previous willingness to include us in your summer plans.
In this unprecedented situation, we ask that you either please email to let us know what you'd like for us to do with your previously paid deposit(s) or complete this brief Google Form (https://forms.gle/DQnbRfp1y72m3q9q6). If you have already paid a deposit to hold your spot for the summer program, we need your input on what you would like to do with that. Here are the options:
A) Donation - You choose to convert your deposit(s) into a tax deductible donation to Pacific Northwest Theater. Any donors will receive a receipt for their tax-deductible donation. Since Tuesday, May 5 is Giving Tuesday a global generosity movement that helps communities support the not-for-profit organizations like Pacific Northwest Theater, this can be an ideal way to support a local cause that you believe in.
B) Refund - You want a refund of your deposit(s) in full. We understand that many families are feeling an economic pinch during this time. If you would like a full refund let us know and we'll have that out to you within 6 to 8 weeks.
C) Partial or Additional Donation - if you are able and willing, as we are in such a tenuous financial situation, an additional contribution will greatly help our non-profit remain viable for future camps. If you'd like a partial deposit refund, with the remainder converting into a donation, please specify the dollar amounts for each. Please follow this link to our Donation Page for any additional donations. Contributions in any amount are welcome and deeply appreciated.

We are working to design a summer program for next year that will be fun and engaging for young people of all ages. We do not know what those shows will be at this time, but we are looking forward to a time when we can engage in the joys of live theater again with your child/children.
With the cancellation of all of our programs, Pacific Northwest Theater needs your help to remain viable and ready to serve your kids in the future.
